Going through grad school, working full time, and getting married all at one time has a way of making your hobbies get dusty. Well, I am a teacher. Why does this matter or have anything to do with hobbies? I like to sew. That was one of mine. I teach special ed and realized I really needed some weighted items. I hop on amazon and that stuff is EXPENSIVE. No way can I pay $50 for a weighted lap pad. So, I will be dusting off my sewing machine, buying a bunch of dry beans or other weighting material (if you have suggestions please share) and getting to work!
